Day 1 :
Arrive in Athens, Greece
Welcome to Athens! At 6 pm, meet your
Globus Host and traveling companions for
a welcome drink.
Day 2 :
Athens
Sightseeing with a Local Guide features
a visit to the Parthenon's crowning
beauty atop the ACROPOLIS, the
Erechtheum with its Porch of Maidens,
the beautifully preserved Theseum, Roman
temple of Zeus, theater of Dionysus, and
the Agora where Socrates taught.
Vistas of the government buildings and
elegant homes in the modern city provide
a striking contrast to the remains of
the glorious past. The rest of the day
is at leisure. How about a Greek dinner
tonight? Your local host knows where to
find local fare and entertainment
reminiscent of Zorba the Greek.

Day 3 :
Athens - Piraeus (Embarkation) - Mykonos
Head for Piraeus, where you will sail
into the deep blue waters of the Aegean
Sea at 11 am. Later, dock at the
mountainous island of Mykonos with its
characteristic windmills and dazzling
white houses. Time to wander at whim
through narrow paved streets before
returning on board. (Breakfast, Lunch,
Dinner)

Day 4 :
Cruising: Kusadasi, Turkey
Discover the Turkish port of Kusadasi.
An optional excursion is available to
the fascinating Greek, Roman, and
Byzantine excavations of Ephesus.

beautiful and ancient sites, once known
as the capital of the Asian Province of
the Roman Empire.
Day 5 :
Cruising: Heraklion - Santorini
First port of call today is Heraklion on
Crete. A few miles away is Knossos, the
center of the 3000 BC Minoan
civilization, and an optional excursion
can be booked. Afternoon call (weather
permitting) at Santorini, the "Black
Pearl of the Aegean." The optional shore
excursion here takes you up to the
cliff-top village of Thera for one of
the world's most breathtaking panoramas.

Day 6 :
Piraeus, Greece (Disembarkation) -
Athens
After breakfast on board, disembark at
Piraeus and return to Athens. Tonight is
your chance to enjoy an optional dinner
in a romantic restaurant. (Breakfast)
Day 7 :
Athens
Your vacation ends with breakfast this
morning. (Breakfast).
Visiting Ephesus ruins, Odeon, Celcus
Library and the Theatre which is still
in use today for concerts. As we walk
through this ancient site you will
notice the streets paved with marble
which gives a hint to this city's great
wealth many years ago. Our last stop is
the House of Virgin Mary where it is
believed that she arrived with Saint
John 4-6 years after the death of Christ
and spent her final days. Return back to
the hotel around 5:00 pm. Overnight in
Kusadasi.
Day 8 :
Transfer To Izmir Port & Embarking the
Cruise (B-D)
13:00 Pick up from your hotel in
Kusadasi and transfer to Izmir port.
Embarking the Cruise. 20:30 take off
from Izmir port. Overnight on board.
Day 9 :
Patmos & Mykonos (B-L-D)
06:30 am - 10:00 am Patmos. 15:30 -
23:00 Mykonos. Overnight on board.
Day 10 :
Rhodes (B-L-D)
09:30 am - 19:00 Rhodes. Overnight on
board.
Day 11 :
Heraklion (Crete) & Santorini (B-L-D)
06:30 am - 11:00 am Heraklion. 16:00 -

Disembarking the Cruise & Athens Half
Day City Tour (B)
06:00 am arrival in Athens and
disembarking the cruise. 08:00 am
departing for a half day morning tour of
Athens which includes a visit to the
Acropolis, its museum and the Parthenon.
Also view the House of Parliament,
Memorial to the Unknown Soldier,
National Library, Evzones in their
picturesque uniform, Presidential
Palace, the Panatheanic Stadium (where
the first Olympic Games of the modern
era were held in 1896), Temple of the
Olympian Zeus and Hadrian's Arch. After
the morning tour, the afternoon is at
leisure for you to further explore
Athens on your own. (Optional afternoon
tour to Cape Sounion to visit the Temple
of Poseidon).
